John J. Padavano, D.O.

Dr. Padavano is a board certified orthopedic surgeon with licenses held in Maine and Massachusetts. He was a member of the University of New England's first graduating class. Following medical school, Dr. Padavano completed his orthopedic residency training here in Maine. He rotated through Boston's finest hospitals to broaden his exposure at Mass General, Boston Children's Hospital, Brigham and Women's Hospital and the Baptist Hospital to name a few. He served as Chief of Orthopedic at Brighton Medical Center and presently is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of N.E. College of Osteopathic Medicine. When surgery is needed, Dr. Padavano has priveleges at MMC, Mercy and the Scarborough Surgical Center.

Dr. Padavano believes in conservative care and that surgery is always the last option. In today's world of higher health care costs, he also believes patients should be treated by himself and not ancillary medical providers.

By providing direct orthopedic evaluations and care, we can ensure the very best treatment results based on your individual needs.
